In depth
Verdict
This looks wide open but First Dance won in a lower grade here at the end of October, though is 5lb higher. Snow Ocean got off the mark at Southwell around the same time while Indomeneo continues to knock on the door. Capriolette is another who is usually thereabouts while it’s likely we haven’t yet seen the best of Casting Spells, who makes his all-weather debut. Eesha My Flower won a novice event here in the spring but will probably need this. We’ll take a chance on FARES POET (NAP), who ran well in a better race here back in May and again in October. He should be shedding his maiden tag this winter.
