      Verdict

      Saddlers Bend could only manage fourth at Kempton on her latest start, but has shown her best form at this track with all three of last year's victories registered here. She looks sure to go close but the unexposed RICH AND RECKLESS is just preferred. She makes her handicap debut after finishing third over C&D a fortnight ago. The runner-up Black Pond has since franked the form with a victory and the Starcraft filly looks capable of taking this with further improvement likely. Recent Southwell winner Hill Tribe can figure and Many Welcomes is worth noting on her return to action.
