A strong claimer and Sawwaah is narrowly preferred to Local Poet and Bollin Edward. Dandy Nicholls' horses are currently flying and with Victoria Behan securing her biggest every victory at Newcastle last weekend, confidence is high. The horse is not the most straightforward in the world but he posted a fair time figure at Redcar and can be given another chance to shine on this occasion. Local Poet has a BHB rating of 78 and is a previous winner on this surface. Dropped to this level for the first time, the market is watched. Bollin Edward is another to drop in grade although he is not proven on the surface. A winner of races in May and June - he should not want for matchfitness. Mister Elegant won a weaker race over course-and-distance and has a little more to prove. Le Chiffre has regressed considerably since his days with David Loder and is best watched until there are signs of a revival. Gem Bien has failed to fire on starts at Wolverhampton and Southwell and looks one to be wary of at the moment. Sawwaah is not the best in at the weights but he pays his way at this level and is accordingly selected.
