    Verdict

Van Dyke finally won a maiden over track and trip recently and Master Gunner has been thereabouts over 1m2f on the Turf and makes his all-weather debut. Wakame continues to improve and won at Bath a fortnight ago. He can go close again but THE THIRD MAN looks set to take advantage of a slide down the weights judged on his recent second over course and distance so gets the nod. Monsieur Chevalier is back on a winning mark and the prolific course winner could go well at a price.
