        Verdict

        PRINCESS GAIL makes plenty of appeal as she ran out a cosy winner over C&D on her return to action and handicap debut last month. The manner of her victory suggested Mark Brisbourne's filly can shrug off today's penalty and follow up, confirming superiority with Titan Diamond and William Wainwright in the process. Diamond Sunrise is also unexposed and can figure on her handicap bow, but Lynchpin looks too high in the weights and Granny Anne has so far shown her best form on the Fibresand.
