        Verdict

        In what is a fascinating maiden, the main contender here is Tobago Reef and he gets our vote ahead of Charlotte Grey and Elizabeth Garrett. The Linda Stubbs trained gelding is one of the more exposed contenders, but has put in some solid efforts recently. His third behind Lake Pontchartrain stands out as very good form in respect to this company and he is a confident choice. Charlotte Grey chased home the 64 rated Sherrif's Silk in a seller last time and has to be respected in what is effectively a drop in class. Apart from the Elizabeth Garrett, who has hinted a glimmer of ability, the rest have shown precious little and so we return to Tobago Reef as the most likely winner.
