    Verdict

MINIMEE and Prophets Pride are the obvious stand-out candidates here. Both made their debuts over this C&D last month and showed enough to suggest they will win races and it's the former who just gets the vote as he was up against a couple of experienced rivals when a close third to Aye Aye Skipper. His trainer, Roger Varian, handles Yaroom, who had 7l to spare over Prophets Pride and should know how today's candidate stands against that rival. Bill Turner's newcomer Blue Missile has a real speedy all-weather pedigree and looks one to note for the future.
