In depth

Verdict

Saeed bin Suroor complicates matters by running the newcomer Lost Gold, a half-brother to a Group 1 winner and partnered by Adam Kirby, despite stablemate Warm Smile finishing second at Kempton last month. Handel failed to win for Ballydoyle though placed on numerous occasions and debuts for new connections but it could pay to stick with SCREAMING PETRUS. The latter showed promise when only beaten a length over track and trip on last month’s debut and a bold bid is expected from David Loughnane’s charge.
