City Escape and Broken Rifle were both beaten less than a length in a bunch finish here last time with the latter looking more likely to reproduce that form while The Game Is On recorded his recent second at the track in an amateurs’ race. But BONNIE LAD showed signs of a resurgence when going close at Chelmsford last time and Richard Hughes’ charge may prove the one to side with in this. Pilot Wings could go well on his return from an absence and Qr Passion may improve now handicapping.
