Convivial Spirit, Grand Lucre and Arch of Titus look the three to concentrate on in this competitive maiden and the vote is given to Convivial Spirit. The selection won well last time out when beating Nans Joy and although rising in the weights he looks a progressive type, has conditions to suit and he is taken to defy the handicapper. Grand Lucre rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Alfresco. That form has since been franked and he should be closely watched in the market. Arch Of Titus is another that could go well as he won a maiden in good style last time out. However he looks high enough in the weights for what he has actually achieved and is taken on with this in mind. Cherri Fosfate's best form is over a longer trip and for the winner we are happy to return to Convivial Spirit.
