In depth

Verdict

Punters will need their guessing caps on for this. David Evans won last year's renewal and originally had four runners this time round. That's now down to two with Adam Kirby's presence on PATIENCE ALEXANDER taking the eye. The latter is out of a prolific mare and a half-sister to the speedy Hilary Needler winner Dozy. Stablemates Lady Armada and Multi Quest are both related to winners on the all-weather while Mark's Whisper hails from a yard that traditionally has it's two-year-old runners well forward. Macarthurs Park is a half-sister to a couple of winning sprinters and is another to consider.
