In depth

Verdict

Gulland Rock has already won twice here this year and is a consistent sort at this level. Anthony Carson's gelding has to go on the short-list but MOI AUSSIE (NAP) is just preferred as he won over track and trip two runs ago and was then only headed close home when runner-up off a higher mark at Salisbury when finishing almost three lengths ahead of re-opposing Constable Clouds. Grey Destiny has been placed here three times and also finished second on Tapeta at Newcastle in May so can't be left out of calculations but Rising Sunshine is getting no nearer.
