        Verdict

        None of these looked like claiming a place last time let alone winning. COMPTON PRINCE has to race off a higher mark back on the all-weather but went close at Chelmsford back in March and gets a token vote on that form. Curious Fox won at Brighton in June but reverted to one of her more usual modest efforts last time while Emerald Bay was not beaten far in fourth when last at the track. Ershaad and Intense Starlet have both tumbled down the weights but it’s hard to find anything worth a mention regarding the rest.
