        Verdict

        MALLYMKUN started the year on a 10lb higher mark and finished closer when third over 6f here last week. She is a speculative selection in an uninspiring handicap. Manolito was placed the last time he raced at the track but Chapeau Bleu was seven lengths behind the winner when runner-up at Kempton. Pressure is usually thereabouts without being good enough while Lady Desire has yet to show any improvement for her slide down the weights.
