Verdict
Mighty Gurkha represents last year’s winning yard but is penalised for winning a Group 3 contest at Kempton in September when ZAMAANI was only fifth. The latter has placed in Listed company subsequently and is taken to reverse running on more favourable terms. Yazaman came up short again when favourite in a conditions race at Newcastle and Atalis Bay is preferred if back to his best after a below-par run at Newmarket. Victory Heights has proved best over the minimum trip so far and the remaining pair have a stack to find at the weights.
