Verdict

STEVE ROGERS (NAP) returned to action with a victory over 1m4f here three weeks ago. There should be plenty more to come from Roger Varian's charge and he can go in again. Topaling is upped a further 6lb after landing a four timer with a narrow-margin victory over track and trip last month and Percy's Princess remains 14lb higher than December's win at the track. Captain Swift has yet to win but Opera Buff and Stand To Reason have slipped further down the weights as they seek to end long losing runs and will probably find a race in the near future.
