In depth

Verdict

This is a distinctly moderate finale to the afternoon's action and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Playtotheaudience, who has shown a consistent level of form on the Polytrack this year, and he is taken to give weight and a beating to Green Pirate and Guildenstern. The last mentioned was well held on his latest start over a mile at Doncaster but may be better judged on earlier form on the all-weather on which he has solid claims. Forced Upon Us is another that seemed not to stay a mile last time and may do better back in trip this afternoon, while Bens Georgie could probably do with some help from the handicapper. Green Pirate has run respectably over six furlongs of late but is better over seven so has to be respected but preference is for Playtotheaudience, who is taken to give weight and a beating away all round.
