        Verdict

        Polybius finished in front of Reputation when ending a long losing run with last month’s success at Kempton. Major Partnership is a headstrong type and this shorter trip may suit having won over both 7f and a mile earlier while Squats and the recent Epsom winner Highland Acclaim also drop down from 7f. Kodiline won a lower grade sprint over track and trip a fortnight ago but TASHAABOH looks capable of further progress now handicapping having got off the mark with a victory in novice company at Doncaster in June and Owen Burrows’ grey gets the vote.
