Verdict
Barking Mad can give Michael Bell a quick double on the card, with his biggest dangers seen as Ticero, Gallery Breeze and Acorazado. Despite this being only his second all-weather outing - his first came at Lingfield - the selection has enough form from around today's mark to play a big part here - unless he is not at his sharpest after a 131-day break. A return to the form that saw Ticero beat Sir Haydn at Lingfield three runs ago gives him a big shout, while, as a course and distance winner, Gallery Breeze comes firmly into the reckoning - he might even represent some value here. We shall see. Acorazado suggested last time that he would appreciate today's trip more so, and he is another that really ought to go well. Of the others, Mr Wong might find this trip a bit on the short side, even though he has a chance on adjusted ratings, which returns us to the selection, Barking Mad, although that absence is a slight worry.
