In depth

Verdict

Arizona John scored at Pontefract in May and returns from a lengthy absence along with Aryal, who landed a double early last year. Future Security missed the whole of 2013 but scored in the snow at St Moritz on his reappearance. The former Godolphin inmate won't have made the trip over from Germany for nothing. Back Burner is preferred to Excellent Puck over today's distance and Uphold has a shout as he returns from racing on the all-weather at Cagnes. But FLYING POWER has been competing in higher grade handicaps and now back on a winning mark, it's John Norton's top weight that gets the vote to come out best.
