        Verdict

        Royal Alcor is a course and distance winner but has been raised 10lb for winning a Class 6 race at Southwell last time albeit with plenty in hand. He may still figure but WAAHEJ is preferred having been placed over track and trip off a higher mark in July. Weybridge Light won here in the same month but is 7lb higher today while Smirfy's Silver has been well beaten since scoring at this track early in the year. Giantstepsahead is one of the least exposed and may finish closer back on this surface.
