Verdict
A weak event and it's hard to look beyond Kavi as the winner. Pat Haslam's son of Perugino had to work hard to gain a Southwell claiming victory over a mile last time but showed a good attitude to score and will find this easier on favourable terms so gets a confident TEAMtalk vote. Downtherefordancin appeared unsuited by the application of first-time blinkers when below par behind the selection last time but has claims on an earlier placed effort in similar company at Lingfield previously. Sylvester Kirk's charge can gain the forecast spot ahead of Platinum Boy who has been well beaten in similar company of late and is likely to struggle once again.
