In depth
Verdict
In what looks to be a race that lacks strength in depth, Sweetheart is selected ahead of Encircled and Miss Fancy Pants. As her breeding suggested, Encircled improved for the step up in trip last time and, with the form looking solid enough in the context of this race, she can go well. Miss Fancy Pants is a late-developing type that has shown enough in two starts to be considered, while the 82,000 euros purchase Moral Code rates as an interesting newcomer. Finally, Sweetheart showed sufficient promise on her debut to suggest that she can be competitive at this level because the winner is only going to have to run to a mark of around the mid 60s in order to score. As such, she gets the vote.
