Verdict
Rock Concert can follow up his recent course win at the main expense of Mutarafaa and Spy Gun. The selection won well over a slightly shorter trip six days ago and one thing you can guarantee with her is that she will battle. That quality will serve her well today as Mutaraafa will be no pushover. A winner of his last two races, both over course and distance, he is now rated five pounds higher than for the most-recent of them. That still makes him competitive here to our eyes. Overall, Avigo has been disappointing but a repeat of his third here over today's course and distance in November would ensure supporters for him too. Spy Gun has never raced here but has won at Southwell. He's seen the racetrack only five times so should have improvement to come so has to be considered when weighing up this race. TKO Gym has reached the frame only three times in 20 starts and remains maiden. It is his first try on this surface but it would be a surprise if he was good enough to win this race. Overall, then, in a fairly tight affair, Rock Concert gets the nod.
