Verdict

TOY THEATRE continued her good progress with a five-length romp over course and distance last time. An apprentice’s allowance helps reduce a 10lb hike in the weights and Mick Appleby’s filly can go in again. Glorious Artist was last of only three runners at Newcastle recently and Widnes may prove a bigger threat after going close at Lingfield. El Hombre and Blue Bahia have both won maiden races but were well beaten on their respective handicap debuts.
