In depth

Verdict

Field Spark gets the vote here, with his biggest dangers reckoned to be Ocean Rock, Reflex Blue, Aristi, Indian Chase and Frontlinefinancier. On a winning Turf mark, the selection acts on this surface and, on recent efforts, looks well worth trying again at today's trip. As such, he might be worth taking a chance on. Course and distance winner Reflex Blue is back to a winning mark, while Ocean Rock won well here two runs ago and got going too late last time. He is respected. Turn back the clock a fair way and Gaelic Roulette could be given a chance, as could Etching, while Aristi might step up on her course and distance effort last time if ridden with a bit more restraint. Indian Chase is closely weighted with her based on that, while, just a pound higher than for his latest Turf win -and given that he is proven here - Frontlinefinancier also comes into things. Overall, though, we will side with Field Spark.
