Verdict
A race little better than selling grade and Elusive Deal is picked to take the scalps of Redbrick Girl and Llab Nala. Elusive Deal ran an encouraging race at Kempton over a mile and with first time cheekpieces, it is hoped that Paul Hanagan can find the necessary improvement today. Redbrick Girl has had plenty of time off. Today's trip looks much more suitable on breeding than those already encountered. Llab Nala lacks scope as an individual. That said, he does at least attempt to win even though he is of fairly lowly ability. Red Skipper has actually taken on some half decent opposition and while held in those races, this race does not look to be anything of that caliber. Course winner, Bahamarama steps into unknown territory in relation to trip. Elusive Deal wouldn't be the most bombproof of selections but appears to have fewest negatives.
