Philharmonic looks all but nailed on for this claimer, with Richard Fahey's charge rated almost 30lb clear of the rest, and he is taken to beat Mannello, Mafaheem and Pegasus Dancer. Philharmonic takes a significant drop in class here and was good enough to have won off a mark of 96 at Beverley on turf in September. He is untried at the track, but he has a good pitch and if he runs to the level of form of his last run when beaten over 7f at Lingfield he would still be good enough. Mannello is rated miles behind the selection but also carries a lot less weight. Jim Best's yard are flying, and if Richard Thomas can get him out from stall one then he could go very well as he was doing all his best work at the finish the other day. On the book Mafaheem should be the biggest danger to the selection now back in this company. He won a claimer over c&d a couple of starts ago, whiel Pegasus Dancer has a bit to find with him at the weights but can battle to make the frame. However, none of them should trouble Philharmonic, who can call the tune.
