In depth

Verdict

Shoot To Kill hit the target at Lingfield last time when successful over 7f for new connections. He runs over this far for the first time but Green Power won over a mile at Kempton a fortnight ago and is 6lb higher. Defence Treaty is back on a winning mark and placed at Chelmsford on his return from a lay-off while Jewel Maker finished in front of Bakersboy when third over track and trip. But today’s apprentice partnered LAFAN when the latter was beaten only a neck in this grade over course and distance and Richard Hannon’s charge may prove the one to side with.
