Typically modest fare for classified level and SPANISH ACE is our idea of the winner with Amber Moon and Stargazy the others to make appeal. Matthew Davies is very much an apprentice to watch out for this season and it's no surprise that his talents have caught Milton Bradley's eye. Spanish Ace was rated in the mid-80's just over a year ago and while he isn't as capable on the artificial surfaces as he is on the turf, at the likely odds we are prepared to take our chances. Amber Moon is a rare runner in this sphere for Jamie Osborne. He should be capable of confirming form with Elkhart Lake on this occasion. Stargazy should have come on for his first run for some time. His sole win did come at this stage of this season. Desert Lover hasn't been seen since unseating rider in a hurdles race last summer. Seven furlongs around here suits. Where's Dids showed little for Mick Channon and is tried in cheekpieces by David Evans. Stormburst has proved difficult to win with while Nordic Light is back in headgear. Not a race for the housekeeping money and Spanish Ace is our tentative selection.
