Verdict
On A Whim is upped in trip as she bids for a fourth consecutive course win but is also 6lb higher and upped in class. Le Torrent faces the same disadvantages as the former as he returns to action having ended last year with a hat-trick, including a defeat of Doctor Kehoe at Bath. The latter went on to score over track and trip in October but MINSTRELS GALLERY has a more recent course and distance success under his belt. The hurdles winner returned to the all-weather with an easy four-length victory just last month and should go close again on that evidence. Mister Bob drops back down a grade on his return from a lengthy absence but his last three wins have been over 2m.
