In depth

Verdict

GOLDEN FOUNTAIN attempted to make all at Lingfield three days ago but weakened badly in the final furlong. But that should have blown any cobwebs away and he gets another chance in this. Jungle Book has switched trainers since placing at Nottingham in October while Divine Connection’s earlier success here came over 7f in a seller. Captain Corelli finished third over a shorter trip at the track in November and has been gelded since. Take That, Island Nation and Jack Ryan make most appeal of those handicapping for the first time.
