Spare Parts winning run came to an end last month though he’s been in the mix in both starts since. Dark Alliance escaped a penalty for winning an apprentices’ race here and took advantage at Lingfield last time while Lucky Lodge has been winning lower grade handicaps including over track and trip last week. Baltic Prince won at Kempton on his latest outing and Right Action can be excused a below par run at Southwell while Ebbisham also has a shout. But ATHASSEL drops down in class having also tumbled down the weights and it could be his turn today.
