        Verdict

        Ability to handle the surface will have to be taken on trust but Ascraeus showed some promise in a couple of runs last term. Benefit Street is preferred, however, as he showed speed to halfway over 6f at Newcastle nine days ago before running green in the closing stages. RELAUNCH is from the same family as the smart Safety Check and James Tate will be disappointed if his colt can’t make an impact in a race like this. John Jasper, who is Dirt bred, can also feature.
