Greenmeadow heads the shortlist in the finale, with Bracklinn and Witwatersrand others to throw into the mix. The last named was a convincing winner at Thirsk last month and has to be respected as a live danger. Barry Hills has not rushed this daughter of Unfuwain and, as she is only 2lb higher in the ratings, she comes here with solid claims of boosting her paddocks value. Still, it was a weak race she won and she now has more to do. Bracklinn also won a modest contest last time out and steps up in grade. She is also taking on colts and geldings for the first time and may be best watched on this occasion. Therefore, we switch to Greenmeadow, who has experience of this type of contest and, as she showed grim determination to win over course and distance last time, she has the right attitude to expect a bold show today.
