In depth

Verdict

Hugo Palmer's Champs Elysee newcomer Paris Magic is worth a market check but this probably rests between Catastrophe and SOLDIER IN ACTION with preference narrowly for the latter as his second at Redcar when hampered looks slightly better form than the Pontefract run of John Quinn's charge. Best Of Oregon never really threatened the winner when runner-up at Windsor while Holiday Henry, fifth over 7f here last time, and Lingfield third and fourth Dr Drey and Athlon, also have some improving to do.
