In depth

Verdict

Ochre can account for Baan and Chookie Hamilton. Richard Fahey's charge won an amateur riders' race impressively and while one shouldn't go overboard about the value of the form, he is at least knowing how to get his head infront. Baan has had plenty of chances and seems to run here virtually every week. The hold-up performer invariably finishes well without getting there. Chookie Hamilton put up a stinker in first time visor and is returned to cheekpieces. He simply cannot be as bad as that last run suggests. Empire Dancer has struggled with the handicapper and seems to fall between two stools as far as trips at Dunstall Park are concerned. Gwyllion hails from a yard that have enjoyed particular success here in recent weeks. Intersky Sports is exposed as ordinary. Soviet Palace is best watched at present. Ochre is in good heart at present and can follow up a recent success.
