In depth

Verdict

SECRET WITNESS separated a couple of higher rated rivals when runner-up in a Listed event at Lingfield last month. He ran well again in a hot handicap at the same track last time with Piscean behind and Ron Harris' sprinter can deservedly get his head back in front here. Both Treadwell and Oasis Dancer drop back in trip today and have a bit to prove, while October's Dundalk winner Bajan Tryst returned to his usual inconsistent self when finishing last at Lingfield recently. Little Garcon could figure if back to his best after being badly hampered and unshipping his rider when last seen at the track in June.
