Finn Russell escapes a penalty for winning an apprentices race at Lingfield though is rider was claiming 7lb on that occasion. EAGLE DAY (NAP) is preferred as he won with plenty in hand over track and trip last month and can defy a 5lb rise on that evidence. Flatley was well beaten last time having won here before that while Prince Ali finished in front of Green Power when second here recently and Goldsmith is another to consider.
