Verdict

Russian George and Clear Sailing have both improved over hurdles since last seen on the Flat and are potentially well handicapped on that score. Jawaab and Cobo Bay both scored at Southwell last time and the latter makes most appeal of that pair having already won four times here over shorter trips. Hawaana won over today's distance at Brighton last August and will have come on for his recent reappearance, but the vote goes to BROAD MEANING. Formerly with Dermot Weld in Ireland, he improved for the step up in trip when third at Lingfield last month and there should be plenty more to come.
