In depth
Verdict
Neutral Night is given the confident vote in the opener with Rathmullan, Indian Music and Finger of Fate the others for the shortlist. The selection has been a frustrating sort to follow but she finally got off the mark last time out, and as she won quite cosily that day she looks capable of going in again in this same grade. Rathmullan finished behind our selection on this track on that day and did meet trouble in running, and although it would be a surprise if she were good enough to beat our choice, the chances are she will get closer on this occasion than she did last time. Indian Music is a course and distance winner and she should go well now that she is dropped back to her optimum trip, so she is respected, while Finger of Fate is dropped in class so is another that can't be ruled out. However, Neutral Night looked like a filly to follow when she won on this track last week and she is the one they all have to beat.
