Verdict
Subversive was only beaten a head at Haydock a week ago. He'll likely prove a popular choice but KOPTOON may prove better value. Tom Dascombe's charge should have done better at Thirsk last time but finished a close-up fourth in Class 2 company at Goodwood on his debut and gets the nod on that form. Solstalla finished just ahead of Shar Shar over track and trip last time but neither threatened the winner. Granola looks the most likely to improve of the remainder.
