        Verdict

        Exexel can come out on top over the likes of Penny Thoughts, Quote Unquote and Glenviews Youngone. Exexel was sent off as favourite here at Wolverhampton 10 days ago and shaped well in defeat considering that she had made her debut just four days earlier. She is a half-sister to Cape Fear who was placed in Listed company, and connections will be disappointed if she cannot win a race or two on the all-weather at least. Penny Thoughts finished fourth of 11 on her Ripon bow in September, but was noticeably green and will come on for the run so is a danger. Quote Unquote has had plenty of chances already and is passed over, while Glenviews Youngone was less than a length behind the selection last time, and as that was her debut, it would be no surprise if she were to make a race of it. All in all, there are a few in with chances, but the finger points to Exexel.
