In depth

Verdict

Under Fire can bounce back to defeat the likes of Vibrato, Green Pirate and Mozie Cat. This looks wide open, but hopefully Under Fire will prove up to the task after failing to complete the hat-trick on his first ever visit to Kempton last month. He was drawn low and possibly had too much use made of him that day, but based on earlier successes at Bath and Brighton, he has every chance of making amends here. Vibrato is better known as a Fibresand performer, but this extra furlong may help his cause, while Green Pirate finally seemed to be getting used to this surface last week when noted finishing well. Mozie Cat returns from a break to make her all-weather handicap bow, and all in all, the experience of Under Fire can prove decisive.
