In depth

Verdict

Buscador gets the call here, with Beauchamp Star and Platinum Pirate possibly proving bet of the rest. Buscador went off too quickly last time and is better judged on his course and distance win in December. A return to that level of form gives him a rock-solid chance. Key Of Gold has not progressed since winning his maiden here, but Beauchamp Star has form enough to be seriously considered in this event and is worth his place on the shortlist. Platinum Pirate is another to consider based on the best of his Turf form, while Game Guru pops up in his turn. Of the others, Love Triangle could be worth a second look in a first-time visor, and Anduril might bag some money of putting his best foot forward. Overall, though, we like the look of Buscador.
