Misty Grey found La Tihaty, due to run in the previous race, too good last time but had beaten Ayr Harbour and subsequent winner Volatile Analyst here earlier. A Listed winner, Highfield Princess is closely matched with Happy Power on running over 6f last year and both have recent runs under their belts while River Nymph, last season’s Victoria Cup winner at Ascot, returns to action. Internationalangel is unbeaten in five starts for Jane Chapple-Hyam and is upped in class but French raider Amilcar has won a Listed contest on the all-weather at Deauville. TINKER TOY was narrowly beaten on his reappearance and has a tough task on paper but the Lincoln entry remains unexposed and it’s unlikely we’ve seen the best of Roger Varian’s charge yet.
