        Verdict

        Trevolli won at Beverley before placing on this surface at Newcastle while Prospect came up short at Ayr having won at Leicester before that. FINAL RENDEZVOUS can be forgiven a poor effort in testing going at Lingfield as she’s gone close on the all-weather on a couple of occasions before that and George Scott’s filly gets another chance racing off the same mark. Macmerry Jim was narrowly beaten at Musselburgh recently and is preferred to Elakazaam of the remainder.
