        Verdict

        Dana Forever gave the impression this extra furlong would suit when runner-up here last time but she was beaten by X Force, trained by Archie Watson, and he runs ENDLESS JOY in this. The latter also steps up in trip having returned a losing favourite in both outings on Turf so far but, given the yard’s impressive strike rate with two-year-olds on the all-weather, she gets the vote. Fair Pass should also do better back on the all-weather today having failed to figure at Newbury and Carmena looks another likely to improve. Melodic Charm is a half-sister to a a winning two-year-old and is a newcomer to note.
