        Verdict

        It's a long time since FLYING POWER won but he's gradually dropping to a winnable mark and wouldn't have got in here but for being dropped 2lb after his latest run. He looks ready to regain the winning thread. San Quentin completed a hat-trick of course and distance victories in the autumn and didn't appear to enjoy the return to Polytrack at Kempton so Dean Ivory's grey has to be on the short-list back on his favoured surface. Art Charter is the only three-year-old in the line-up and makes her handicap debut after three juvenile runs at Haydock over a year ago. Goldmadchen was in very good form earlier this year winning here and at Chelmsford and he'll be better for last month's reappearance at Southwell.
