        Verdict

        Last year’s winner Munificent won again over track and trip before a disappointing effort at Southwell while several competed in the same sprint here when Battle Point, Janaat, Prince of Rome and Astrophysics all finished behind the runner-up BOOM THE GROOM. The latter was only beaten a neck on that occasion and Tony Carroll’s veteran gets another chance in this. Coast and Amazing Amaya look best of the rest with the former preferred in this grade.
